Waterfall projects are undertakings that must, by some law or regulation, be delivered in full by a particular date. Legal, Regulatory and Mandatory (or ‘LRM’) projects are like that. They differ from agile or product-based projects in that delivery date and content are known at the project outset, and typically set by an external body.
